We’ll be heading back to the southwestern section of Mexico Towans, near to Phillack Churchyard, that we started working on last winter. We’ll be cutting and, where we can, digging up some more of the large patch of Cotoneaster to stop it spreading into the surrounding dune grassland.
This session runs 10am – 2pm.
General information for practical conservation sessions: We recommend wearing stout footwear and clothing suitable for working outside in the exposed environment of the Towans. Do bring a spare layer, hat and full waterproofs and sun cream (if it’s going to be sunny). We supply biscuits, please bring your own hot/cold drinks and lunch.
Please book in advance so we can make sure we bring enough tools & biscuits and know to contact you if we need to cancel the session.
