Dawn Chorus Guided Bird Walk

Join us for a gentle stroll around the Towans listening and looking out for the birds of the Dawn Chorus.

Celebrate International Dawn Chorus day with us on a guided dawn chorus bird walk, led by Peter Brinton, local bird enthusiast and Friends of the Townans’ Chair of Trustees.

We’ll meet at Gwithian Green car park at 6.30am and will then head off for a gentle stroll around Gwithian Green and St Gothian Sands, continuing on up the coast to Godrevy Head, aiming to finish at Mutton Cove around 10/10.30am.  We hope to hear some of the spring migrant birds along with a good mix of woodland, grassland, wetland and coastal birds.

Please note this event runs from 6.30am to 10/10.30am
