Introduction to sand dune insect pollinators workshop

Over the spring and summer we’re going to be carrying out some simple insect pollinator surveys across the Towans to find out how the insect pollinators are doing and we’d love you to join us.  To help us prepare we’re having a refresher session with experts from the Budding Nature team.

We’ll be learning about the insect pollinators that can be found on the Towans, how to identify them and how to carry out simple surveys.  We’ll spend the morning indoors learning about pollinator ID and how to carry out simple surveys and then (weather permitting) we’ll be outdoors on the Towans in the afternoon practising surveys & insect ID.

This free workshop runs 10am – 3pm

Booking essential as places are limited.

Date of Session: 21/04/2026

Meeting at: Wellness Hub, Tehidy Country Park
