North Quay Beach Clean

15 Volunteers dodged the heavy showers to complete the last official beach clean of the season at North Quay. The group welcomed Ann Davies who has recently returned to the area after 5 years away. A total of 37.4kg was collected which was excellent, as much of it was in small amounts. Thank you to Amy of Gilberts for allowing us access to their bins today.Also, Ralph of North Quay Development who allowed us free parking in their car park behind Gilberts.

The average number of volunteers over the 8 beach cleans this year has been around 18 per session which is up from 2024. In addition over 38 kg per session was removed from our beaches, coast path and surrounding areas.

I should now like to thank all hosts and volunteers for their help and support over this season. We have over 40 registered volunteers which has allowed us to achieve the success in the results seen.
